My work is mainly process led and explores contrast, tension and interruptions. Drawing is the essential tool that drives my ideas forward in a constant, circular pattern of deconstruction and reconstruction until a pared down, clarity of form is realised.

Scale is an important element to my work to try and make the viewer feel immersed. Small maquettes are produced and gradually made larger until they reach a substantial scale. Processes allow me to explore and experiment with ideas and materials, constantly challenging my fears of the unknown and learning new skills.
